EDAThe University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (UCIE) is funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) as a catalyst to bring a wide variety of entrepreneurial and economic development resources together in one easy-to-access location. We provide assistance through these programs:

  • Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Center (MO SBTDC)
  • Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MO PTAC)
  • MoFAST SBIR/STTR program and technology development and commercialization assistance
    Our business specialists

Other partners include University of Missouri Extension and the MU College of Engineering.

Impact: In fiscal year 2009, MO SBTDC staff successfully assisted more than 2,800 clients, resulting in $135 million in increased sales and 4,986 jobs created or retained.
