The marketing plan (strategy) answers several questions, including:
- Who or what is your target market?
- What is the status (e.g. growing, shrinking, static) of that market?
- How is that market segmented?
- What are the demographic characteristics of your customers?
- What will be (or is) your market share and how will you increase it?
- How will you promote the business to the market?
- How will you price your product(s) or service(s)?
- Who is the competition?
- What is the quality of the competitors' products or services?
