Reclaim solvents through your hazardous waste handler.

  • Contract with a solvent tank maintenance service to regularly service your tank and replace it with clean solvent.
  • Spent solvents can be processed off site by a licensed solvent recycler and purchased back at a reduced cost.
  • Waste exchanges may have listings for companies that will use the spent solvent as feedstock.

Recycle mercury-containing auto switches and receive cash back.

Recycle tires.

  • Some companies accept tires that they can retread or crumb into paving material or playground cover. See MDNR's Scrap Tire End-Users information.

Recycle waste oil – on site.

  • An approved waste oil burner can offset your shops energy bills.

Recycle shop packaging.
