Marie Steinwachs has provided environmental programming through University Extension since 1991 targeting pollution prevention, energy conservation, greening college campuses, sustainable development, household hazardous waste and product stewardship. She was co-founder of the internationally recognized Household Hazardous Waste Project (HHWP) in 1986. Steinwachs has a MS in Administrative Studies and Environmental Management from Missouri State University and is a Truman Scholar.
Jessica Adams-Weber is senior undergraduate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She completed two years of liberal arts studies at Truman State University before transferring to MU to study physics and engineering. Jessica has been instrumental in developing the EAC fluorescent lamp recycling and pollution prevention programs.
