9:00 AM FastTrac® NewVenture™ for Dislocated Workers (Session 3) (Session 5 of 5)
Description: Class dates/times in this series: Day 1: May 29 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) Day 2: June 5 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) Day 3: June 12 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) Day 4: June 19 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) Day 5: June 26 (9:00 am - 2:00 pm) (must attend all sessions to complete training ) In FastTrac® NewVenture TM, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities.

Description: This workshop will provide you with an introductory examination of the features of Microsoft Access, a powerful relational database. Participants will learn to create a database, design input forms, generate and print output reports, and save reports. Linking database files to other applications will also be covered.
