Description: Class dates/times in series: Class dates/times in series: Day 1: September 21st (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 2: September 28th (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 3: October 5th (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 4: October 12th (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 5: October 19th (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 6: October 26th (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 7: November 2nd (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) Day 8: November 9th (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) (must attend all sessions to complete training). In Artist, INC you will look at all aspects of the business end of an artist’s career including strategic planning, marketing, recording keeping , budgeting, taxes, legal issues including , writing for promotion, grants writing, obtaining bank financing and arts marketing technology. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers, and small group breakout activities. Program is designed for artists of all disciplines including visual arts, music, theatre, writing, dance and film.
Location: Upon entering the building, take a left and then an immediate right down the yellow hallway. The class will be held in room 114 on the left side past the restrooms.
