About BRIDG

The Business Research & Information Development Group (BRIDG) was created to ensure that programming for small business owners and entrepreneurs in Missouri is grounded in solid research. BRIDG is an initiative of the University of Missouri Extension Business Development Program and is revised and improved by the use of evaluation results.

BRIDG conducts applied and secondary research as well as links scholarly research to practitioners in the small business and entrepreneurship arenas. BRIDG also conducts evaluations of the business development programs and services throughout Missouri. With this knowledge in hand, BRIDG is able to help guide service providers and policy makers in developing and delivering the tools, information, knowledge, and skills that small business owners and entrepreneurs need to effectively start and grow businesses in the State of Missouri.
